The PAST Partnership

At Digital Research & Communication (DRC), we strongly believe in the power of interdisciplinary and innovative education. This vision is at the heart of PAST – Pathways Across STEAM and Time: Where History Meets STEAM, an Erasmus+ project that brings together schools, universities and research organisations from Lithuania, Poland, Italy and Serbia.

The PAST Partnership: Our European Collaboration Where History Meets STEAM

The project is coordinated by Kaunas Steponas Darius and Stasys Girėnas Gymnasium (Lithuania), a forward-thinking secondary school with strong experience in international cooperation and innovative education.

Also from Lithuania, Vytautas Magnus University contributes academic and research excellence through its STEAM Didactics Center and Education Academy, strengthening the methodological and pedagogical framework of the project.

Poland is represented by three organisations:

  • The Centre for Education and Entrepreneurship Support (CWEP), with extensive expertise in Erasmus+ projects, digital education and innovation;
  • Secondary School with Lithuanian Teaching Language of 11th March in Puńsk, bringing valuable experience in minority education and cultural heritage;

From Italy, Digital Research & Communication (DRC) contributes expertise in digital education, communication, research-based methodologies and dissemination strategies.

From Serbia, two key partners enrich the consortium:

  • Smart High School (Gimnazija Smart), specialised in computing, digital skills and student-centred innovation;
  • Minds Europe – Institute for Research Excellence and Technological Advancement (MEI), a research-driven organisation focused on interdisciplinary innovation, sustainability and digital transformation.

Our Role as DRC

As DRC, we contribute our expertise in:

  •  Digital education and innovative methodologies
  •  Design and development of educational tools and digital resources
  •  Communication and dissemination strategies
  •  Project management and quality assurance
  •  Bridging research and practical school implementation

Our experience in Erasmus+ projects and digital learning environments allows us to support the consortium in creating meaningful, accessible and impactful educational outputs.

PAST is not only a European partnership — it is a shared commitment to rethinking how History and STEAM can work together to inspire learners.
